MapThe Grand Dilemma
Description
Start low with both hands on the wide, slanted sloping edge. Work your way up vertically and to the right, reaching a wide crimp. Top out with a slopey finish on the upper right edge of the boulder. Caution and good protection is necessary, as there is a large tree in front of the climbing face and sharp rocks to the right.
Location
After arriving in the gravel parking lot/pullover, begin hiking up the trail, on the right of GoForth creek. The Grand Dilemma boulder is the first large and climbable boulder you will see, about 150 ft up the trail and after a small stream crossing. The Grand Dilemma problem is on the vertical face pointed towards the trail head; the other side of the boulder is a slab face covered in graffiti.
Protection
Plenty of pads
