Leaning Tree Crack Left

FA Warren Digness, early 2000s

UPDATED

Description

Nice, thin crack that has good variety in movement. Not as sustained as its neighbor, but with much more devious crux moves. Starts with some more straightforward moves and good laybacks until the big feet run out. Some delicate foot movement and a careful choice of hands will see you through the crux to a decent rest hold (that was quite wet in the early summer). One more balancy move is required to meet up with the right crack in the big hole and finish off with some easier movement to the top.

Location

Left of the two cracks on the vertical face right of the leaning tree.

Protection

Single rack to 1", double to 0.75", rap anchor.

A toprope can be setup very easily and cleanly by walking around the left of the crag.
