North Face

The Conn Adventure Climb book says something like "Climb chimney on the north".  Approach from the north side scrambling up to the base which is a grassy gulley between the main eight massif and a separate tower to the north.  Scramble to the top of a block and step across to the south, go up.  

North facing chimney on the north side of the eight massif.  Approach from the picket fence side, or climb seven, rap into seven/eight gulley and walk up to the base.  

Good gear to a number 4, a few longer slings for natural features. A bit runout in a couple sections due to the size of the chimney but very secure.
