Description
Climb right from the ledge, clipping the first bolt on the
Unknown Grey Slab
. Move up and left, clipping the next bolt where the angle steepens. You may want to back clean the first bolt after getting the second clipped. Above, climb on beautiful grey limestone. Make use of the crack feature on the right. Move left at about the 4th bolt to gain the face above. The angle lessens, but the climbing is more difficult and thoughtful as you make slabby limestone moves that aren't always obvious. Finding a hidden jug before the finish helps ease the mind before you make the final moves to the anchor.
Location
As of Dec. 2011, this is the left most bolted route on the grey slabs at the Homestead. Look for a ledge with a juniper below a nice looking grey wall. It's about 20 yards to the left of the two side by side routes on the right side of the area, including the route with the prominent red streak.
Protection
8 bolts and anchor. The 1st bolt is shared with the
Unknown Grey Slab
route to the right.
