Strike the Gong

Another big beauty of a sport climb on impeccable granite. Traverses above the lip of a large roof then tackles several boulder problems leading to a full rest below the final roof.  Strike the gong and hold on for glory.

Several recently bolted and unlisted options lead up to this fully bolted extension. Start below a beautiful unbolted arete and follow bolts left (11a) or right (10a) up to a seam on the left side of a big roof. Start clipping bolts and traversing right to begin the adventure.

12 draws and 8 slings to manage rope drag. Lower to midway anchors.  Knot your ends

10 bolts in the uppers and 10 bolts in the lowers. You can use a couple pieces of gear for alternative and quality other options to get up there. You can lower with an 80m and a knotted end to a ledge about 20 feet off the ground and an easy scramble down.
