Description

For some this course may not be theoretical. Start by climbing on or near an obvious arête. Follow the bolt line above, using a good cam or two to protect the moves to the fourth bolt. The crux is somewhat cryptic climbing on slightly overhanging rock to a nice perch, followed by easy gear protected moves to chains. Expect some new-route choss -- consider a helmet for the belayer.

Location

See the approach for

. From the flat area under the cedar tree, walk right out the ledge, past the start for

, for maybe 30 feet to the starting arête. A decent belay can be arranged on the road-facing side of a gendarme-like protrusion under the arête.

Protection

Draws and several cams from fingers to 1 1/2 inches. Rap/lower from chains.
