MapBlack Wave
Description
I saw this unnamed problem listed in the Colorado Bouldering guidebook, and I've always thought it's the gem of the Black Wave area. The problem climbs a slight overhang on great rock over a perfect landing.
Stand start with a left hand on a sloping edge. From there, jump to a perfectly textured right hand sidepull, gain a pair of incut crescent edges, make a big pull to the bumps above, and mantel on top the boulder.
Location
It climbs the south face overhang on Black Wave.
Protection
A pair of pads. The landing doesn't get better than this.
