Slab-o-Death Crack

This is the obvious feature high up and left of

Fire on the Mountain

photo and left of that route).

It is run out to the crack.

I wussed out on my first attempt back in 2009 or 2010, but the line kept haunting me, so I went back and did it.

There is a big hanging boulder perched to trundle on top of this slab and the giant concave slab on which the crack resides looks as if it could exfoliate at any time.

Actually, this is a fairly good trad lead if you can ignore your gut feeling that the whole mass may trundle at any moment.

The crack protects well with medium to large cams, but there is no pro from the ledge to the crack.
