Description

Start up the quartz-y pegmatite crack(3"-4") for the 1st 30 feet, then pull the steep 2 bolt bulge by starting on the left then finishing on the right of the prow. Continue up the blade-like arete.... 9 bolts protect this arete, finishing with 30 feet of natural gear up to 2 inches.

Location

Park on the east side of Tunnel 6. Walk as if approaching the Play Pen. The easiest ascent of the steep, grassy cone is on looker's right up against the rock walls!

Protection

9 bolts with and assortment of natural gear. Some wide gear to 4" is nice for the lower crack. The upper 30' is all natural gear, thin to 2", to the anchor. There is a 2-bolt anchor with chains for descent.
