Funky Spider

Very odd problem that follows the "arete" thingy out a jutting feature of the boulder. Would be four stars but it's painful like a lot of Ponderosa stuff.

One of the largest freestanding boulders. Many slab problems on the back, a long horizontal crack traverse on the North side, and harder stuff on the West (downhill) side.

This problem sit starts on bad holds in the center of a scoop. Go up to the lip and then using a lot of heel hooks and hand-foot matches, traverse out to the tip of the rock. Then do a balancy reach or just dyno for the top. Not quite over yet.

Getting down can be an adventure too, but the easiest/safest way might be to jump to the boulder to the South.
