The Nitty Gritty Rock Climb

Start in a big hueco, shared with the start of

Over the Rainbow

. Make steep slab moves going up and slightly right, and gain a big, right-facing corner system. Climb right of the corner and left of a large bush. Two small overlaps will be passed right of the corner. Continue on slab moves above to a crux overlap near the top.

This was bolted on lead - the bolts are spaced out relative to other routes but will be replaced at some point with glue-ins.

From the base, it’s 120 feet long, but you can start and finish on a stance on the slab with a 70 meter rope. Tie knots in the ends!

It is the fifth route from the right on Upper Slab.

6 bolts plus a two bolt anchor at the top.
