- Edit (TBD)
Description
This crack looks thin and shallow but takes great finger sized gear and tight hands/loose finger jams. After the crack you’ll find yourself negotiating a vertical-slightly overhanging- section with great features and hold right where you need them. Be sure to save a small finger-sized piece(#1 blue metoluis cam) for the final mantle move that gets you to the ledge where the bolted anchors are at.
Location
As you approach the upper mural, follow the trail going up and left alongside the wall almost to the end of it. When you get there you’ll see a big bulge on the wall with a small cave under it, the route starts just to the right of that. The crack has a shallow seam that parallels the right side of it, providing you with occasional feet and crimps.
Protection
Small finger cams and nuts (#1 metolius cam - .75 BD cams) maybe a #2 or #3 BD cam after the crack but not necessary.
