MapStraight Laced
Description
Straight Laced is a nasty, crimp problem that ascends perfect, incut edges.
Stand start with a pair of crimps about six feet off the ground, and thin, almost non-existent feet. From there, hit a right hand sloping crimp, bump the left hand up to a shallow, incut sidepull (crux), work the feet up, and continue to the finish by using the remaining sidepulls.
Staying low on the start holds is key in executing the first move.
Location
The problem ascends the south face in between
Barn Chicken Brown Cow
and
Flagship Blur
.
Protection
At least a few pads, as the landing is uneven due to a large rock that sits slightly left of the problem.
