Description
Top rope. A comination of sandy rails and ledges for good feet. Start on a boulder At the base and work your way straight up. Helmets are a must since there are loose rock patches and rocks hanging around on the small ledges. Trail at the top of the area provides healthy trees for top rope anchors. This wall can get very wet after a rain so it's best climbed after a big of dry weather.
Location
South of Roxboro Middle School, where Roxboro road would cross Doan Brook if it continued south to the other side. On the north side of the Brook
This climb is located on the first vertical wall just to the right of a low angle slab section covered in graffiti and moss. Head down the path towards to stream and pass an overhanging Boulder section. Follow the path over fallen boulders, around the corner, and come across a chossed out slabby areas on your left. The route is the first clean verticals section 20 ft past the slab area. Nice 35 ft climb.
Protection
