Ribbed Pleasures

This route starts 10 feet right of ‘The Rib’.

Pitch 1: Start on the lower slab and up to the overhangs. Staying right of the upper arete, continue climbing up to a ledge with a tree on it. Belay here.

Pitch 2: Exit belay ledge to the left around an arete and climb the face to a bolt. Continue climbing the steep face into horizontal off-width cracks. Traverse to the right and climb up past another bolt and into a dihedral under a roof. Pull the roof on the right climb up past the crux to the top.

Mark Ronca placed these bolts during the first ascent in the 90’s.

Start 10 feet right of 'The Rib' and just left of 'a groove in the slab.

Small to medium cams, 2 large cams, set of stoppers, small tri-cams, 2 quickdraws.
