Coyote Crack

Description

Known by many different names over the years, Coyote Crack was the oldest known one I could find. Perhaps you know one from before the late 90’s?

This route is sure to stop any climber in their tracks when viewed from the road. A splitter crack system through a steep flat wall complete with perfect square cut edges, pockets and finger locks. What’s not to love about this one.

Sit start with your hands on a perfect horizontal rail. Move up into the crack using a variety of holds to a glory finger lock just before reaching the jug at the top. Mantle over the lip and you’re done. All on an immaculate face of bullet hard stone.

Location

Center of the face.
