Come Shale Away

Come Shale Away is a fun, stout, & sketchy climb on high quality stone that seemed too short to bolt.

Begin in the small alcove, & use incut crimps to get right up against the looming slab. Steady yourself to reach up & right to good holds. Work the top right edge as high as you can, then do a "saddle up" move to gain the south face. Top out. Beware of the death spike!

Alternatively, one could set up an extended TR on the trees above for a 5.10ish experience.

On the far left side of the wall, ascend the obvious, dark, overhanging face that looks like a sail.

Pads, spotter, and courage.
