2 bolts up the uphill side of the formation lead to a two bolt anchor with chains for rappel.

On the upper Juniper Canyon Trail. If approaching from the outhouse at Scout's Peak head downhill on the Juniper Canyon Trail and count four switch backs. At the fourth the Cone can be seen directly below. Look for a faint trail downhill through brush and scree to the base of the formation. Coming in the opposite direction look for the first switchback of four.
