This is a left direct start to

Catching the Quarry

that climbs past three bolts on the left arete, linking into

Catching...

at its second bolt (a long sling is helpful here to keep rope on right side of arete for upper climbing).

Climb somewhat friable, moderate rock that quickly improves to a big pocket to start, then make thin, bouldery slappy moves up the arete, culminating in a finishing deadpoint to a finger bucket/lock on the right before you can sneak left. Mantel onto the ledge, then finish on the thin face of

Catching...

to its anchors.
