Serious Attitude Problem

Description

Serious Attitude Problem climbs a horizontal roof with burly moves, and intricate footwork, ending with a challenging top out.

Begin with hands matched on the undercling/pinch thing in the back of the roof. Its debatable where the feet should start, but purists will avoid the choss blocks near ground level, smearing their feet strenuosly on a rubber-stained divit at roof-level. Dyno south-ward from huecu to hueco, match on the protruding undercling at the lip, then move up to sharp crimps on the sunny headwall. Work the feet onto the lip and mantle. This topout is difficult, as the crimps on the slab are not nearly as good as one would like. Head north to a chimney and descend to the west.

Location

Approximately 30 feet left (W) of the Terminator boulder is a small boulder with two problems. The right end of this boulder contains rock art, and is off-limits to climbing. SAP is the right most problem, beginning from the jutting double underclimg pinch.

Protection

Pads and a spotter. Watch the cactus to the left!
