Description

This is a link-up. Begin with

The Homesteader

via is right hand start (.11d). Preclipping the 2nd bolt is advised. Hang a long sling on the 3rd bolt, so it can be clipped. Don't climb up to the 3rd bolt & a good rest, but instead traverse left on overhanging moves to the 2nd bolt on

Sundance

. Move up to 3rd bolt on

Sundance

, & traverse left (.12a) along a thin, horizontal seam crack, to join

Burning Up The Hillside

at its 3rd bolt & its crux. Finish up this route. It is also possible to traverse left at 4th bolt & join

Montana Floodgates

without adding to the difficulty but increasing the length. This is called "The Homesteader Burns Up Floodgates" (.12b), 10-11 bolts / 2 bolt anchor.

Location

Climb the right hand start (arete) of

The Homesteader

to finish at the anchor on

Burning Up The Hillside

.

Protection

8 bolts to an anchor with 2 Fixe rings.
