The Gravity Tax
Description
Start low on two incut holds, working your feet up the ramp to a large jug. Move through a set of smaller holds to a set of smaller jugs, from here you might be able to down climb, but otherwise will have to commit to the crux. Reach up and grab a very small in cut hold with your right hand, and work hard to find the other even smaller one with your left hand. From there adjust your feet and throw to the good crimp high and left at the terminus of a small crack. Catch this hold and throw to the lip of the boulder. It is a huge jug. Do not underestimate the mantle. Top it out and congratulate yourself on the evasion - falling from any of the crux moves would most certainly lead to you paying The Gravity Tax.
Location
This line follows a series of in cut holds up the middle of the face on the Cut boulder.
Protection
Pads and spotters, the landing is not the greatest. It may be much more reasonable to set a top rope from a tree on the top of the boulder, or use the manky bolted anchor if you are bold enough to trust it.
