Deep Trouble

Excellent rock quality on a rad 60-degree overhang with some incredible quartz streaks. This problem starts sitting down inside the deep cave at the base of two vertical rail features. The left hand is fairly large and more of a false arete/ dihedral, while the right hand is a small sloping rail found on the steep overhang. Figure out some options for feet before squeezing your way up both vertical features on the 60-degree overhang. Hit the lip and figure out how to match while avoiding the rock slab behind and mantle onto the large shelf. Once on this large shelf, the climber has the option to climb up the 20-foot V0 slab or to wimp out and drop-off.

This climb is found on the left side of the steep overhanging boulder that forms the cave linking the "Hatchet Area" to the Pit Boss Area".

This climb starts pretty deep in there.

First ascent had an Organic big pad on the rock slab, and a briefcase pad under the start.
