Summit Block

The original summit route on the Boxtop.

Two old quarter inch studs with no hangers indicate a long ago passage.  The studs wouldn't do a good job of protecting against decking if one blew the upper face moves.

Face climbing on reasonable features which aren't as secure as one might like.

The original finish to the Boxtop Traverse.

Best left to a historical top rope ascent.

On the north east side of the north facing summit block (on the left when viewed from the north).

Not much. Top anchor of unknown vintage.
