Description

A nifty scramble up good rock leads to stupendous views of the black dike on Moran, the Falling Ice Glacier below, and, past the West Horn, the Grand Teton.

Many different routes possible. Milking easy traverses across ledges between slabs, the climbing can be kept at an easy 3rd class level. Harder variations could range to easy 5th class.

A recommended 3rd class adventure!

Location

East Face is located across the stream emitting from the Falling Ice Glacier.

Downclimb route.

Protection

Usually done as a solo climb sans protection/ropes.
