This is a fun, exposed romp up the right edge of the cave. This has some unique movement for the grade but can be a bit heady at the top getting horizontal above the boulder in the landing area. It is a good way to practice the ending of many routes that end with the same moves.

Begin matched on a blocky corner hold featuring a left hand crimp and a right hand sidepull/pinch on the right side of the wall. Then make a left hand cross to a good block. From there, proceed out to a good, right hand sidepull, and come out left to a slopey lip and up to a big, finishing jug. Due to the giant finish being unstable, there is a possibility that it could crush you should it fall. With that being said, use caution if deciding to finish on it or finish on 2 small jugs right by the left slopey lip and original top.

"Begin matched at head height on neighboring pinches/crimps, and move your left hand to a good undercling. After a couple more tension-rich moves, trend right to the jug finish."

Hobo Traverse is the most obvious line in the cave. Start on the jugs at the back of cave, and traverse the wall to the climber's right. Exit around the corner ending with a stance on the slab. Flagstaffmountainbouldering.blogspot.com says, "Great movement on some of the most user-friendly and unique stone on the mountain." Bonus, it can be climbed when the rest of Flag is buried under snow or dripping wet.

Start matched on a blocky jug, then go left to the undercling/pinch, which is not as good as you'd like it to be. Make one more hard toss to a sloping right hand edge before heading to the top.

Sit start on a row of black pockets at the rightmost edge of the cave. Pinch and slap your way out of the hole until you are standing on the slab.

Begin on the head high jugs at the left entrance to the cave, and traverse to the jug at the very back of the cave using holds on the left wall and roof.

Beta depends very much on arm span and can be very different from that used for

Burn Out

, even for the same person!

Begin on two really good jugs in the far back on the right side of the cave. From there, continue directly out the cave using some pretty good holds on the roof of the cave, then proceed to make a long move out to the left side of the cave, and throw or walk your feet over. From there, cross into

, V0, and out of the cave. Finally, I'd like to note that you can to a variation of this climb that is called Reverse Burnout, V4/5, in which you just go the begin on the end of Burnout and proceed back into the cave to the starting holds of Burnout.

. Start on opposing jugs down and left of the regular stand start.

Begin on a massive jug rail on the left hand side of the mouth of the cave. Proceed left using a left hand jug of sorts you can meat wrap and a good right hand hold to get up and out of the cave. It is a very good boulder to do well warming up.

This is another great Hobo Cave problem.

SDS on greasy, opposing crimps, move higher to a second set of crimps, blast for the blocky jug, then go left to the undercling/pinch, which is not as good as you'd like it to be. Make one more hard toss to a sloping right hand edge before heading to the top.

Fill My Hole horseshoe traverses the entire cave starting at a rail on the outside of climber's right of the cave, the ending to

Hobo Traverse

. It's a reverse of

Hobo Traverse

and adds on

Burntout

to complete the horseshoe.

This is quite a bit harder than the

Hobo Traverse

as it stacks a bunch of V4/V5 moves prior to the crux, which is also harder to do right to left.
