Hard moves off the ground on a small round sloper and a left side pull. Stand if possible and grab the flat rail above. Mantle the rail and follow easier climbing to the top.

The TVT

This climb is located in the center of the face. Make a hard move or two off the ground to some smears and edges. Reach for a rail right of the flake (*The flake is flexing and should be avoided if possible, most of the loose rock has been removed, use your best judgment). A hidden hold will provide relief for the top out.

On the right side at the base of the dome find a right angling crack in the slab... Climb the crack until it gets thin then break out left on to the slab for a few moderate low angle face moves... The slab eases up so you can walk a few paces... move right around a bush and up a right facing corner to a stance... Navigate up the slab, there are a few choices... If your eyes are open and your footwork is honed you should find a moderate way to the top...

Choose your own adventure up the middle part of the slab... Start on a layback flake to a steep slab and follow the small foot holds up to the midway ledge... Continue straight up or go left to the cracked slab and the top...

Climb the left angling crack to a flake horn midway up.  Continue up from there on pretty good holds or keep traversing the crack to the left and up. 

  The left variation doesn't offer great protection (shallow) as the crack arches vertical... but placements before and after are fine.  The left variation is also a little more balancy (fun!). 

  Good feet pretty much the whole way.

  The 25-30 ft crack on the left side of the cliff... The steepest route at the dome... Flaring jams and some slab work out right... Get you to a big pine tree on a ledge continue up the fun cracked slab to the top...

Climb the arch crack. Make an interesting high step and mantle onto the ledge. Follow the easy arête above the shrubbery to the top.

This is a much shorter and much more powerful way to get to the amazing finishing jug on The TVT. Look just below the jug on the left end of the inverted wall. There are a couple of sharp crimps to hang from to get started. There are poor feet down low and decent feet quite high.

 Keith, who did it first did 2 explosive moves to the jug. I did it right after and used twice as many moves with my more delicate style (though there is no way around a little power on this one).

 Not a bad little addition to this wall though the traverse is still the gem.

 The name is an acronym concerning a technique we like to call a "lee-bar" which incidentally is not necessary on this problem...

Climb the left side of the face. Pull onto the face via the arête's left side or to the right of the arête. A tough move off the ground will get you to some nice edges. Straight up the face after the pocket will present more of a challenge .10+.

Another totally over looked and over due problem! I've been looking at it for years and just got around to cleaning it today. It climbs every bit as well as i thought it would. 

  It's a 20ft traverse to a top out but it makes upward progress with the slope of hill it's on so you are moving upward which feels nice. A steep wall with good feet (rare for Pway) and a mix of jugs and crimps with a sloper thrown in for spice.  

  Start on the nice ledge jug down and right under the overhanging wall. Climb a couple moves in the crack to get established on a good 2 hand jug. head left on smaller holds leading to a cruxy traverse through crimps on the steep face. These crimps lead you to a huge jug at the lip where you can catch a shake before the top out. The top out isn't hard on it's own but it seems hard when you are tired. enjoy...

The Dome is an out-of-the-way, lesser-known crag overlooking the marsh that feeds Round Pond.... It has a few fun and varied routes and better friction than the popular crags due to the fact that it sees less traffic.... The fact that it gets more sun and usually a slight breeze means it dries quickly and gets fewer bugs than the deep dark crags below.... 

  The crag is guarded by a steep, uphill jaunt that will keep most large groups at bay.... There is a good-sized dropoff from the ledge where the routes start which is also a good reason to keep large groups away.... 

  Mostly a top roping area, there are a few sturdy trees right where you would want them at the top. You can hike around to them and drop your lines.... Many variations can be climbed on a single rope.... I don't know if the routes have proper names, but there are a few challenging but still beginner routes up the middle of the face.... A nice, short crack on the left that might be 5.7ish and another angling crack on the right that is the start to the easies line up the cliff.... 

  If anyone knows specific route info please post it.... 

  Be sure to respect this area when you visit it.... It has not been used and abused like many of the other spots in the park and it would be nice to keep it hat way....
