Start as for The Seam but move up the arete using crimps and slopers on either side of the arete. Easiest top out uses holds on the left face and ends near the top of The Flake. A harder as yet unsent variation could continue up higher on the right face but would be much harder.

Start on good Flake at 6' on NE face.  Go up and Left.

start on the two side pulls on the arret. go left to slab with slopers and top out straight up.

This is a right to left traverse that starts on the east side of the boulder, you can start it one of three ways: 

  Off the huge two hand jug. 

  A sit start on the corner (pointing towards the Matterhorn Boulder) with your feet basicly in the same place and your hands on two slopers. 

  Even further right with a larger side pull and your foot pointing to the road the other in the same spot as the sit start. 

  This go in order of easy to hard.  As you get to the left side you can top out if you want to do those very easy moves just to say you topped it out.

Sit start on a low crimp and a small knob. Pull a couple hard moves on a small crimp and another small knob and make a big move to the lowest side pull on the stand start and finish Side Pulls.

Sit-start on two small crimps in the middle of wall. Exceedingly   sharp and painful.

This is one of the hardest problems in Tucson.  Start on a jug 2 feet off the ground, and go straight up to a big lunge to the top.

Start on The Flake, make the lunge to the horn and the move with your left to the crimp, then make a big dead-point to the sloper at the lip.  Match the sloper and top-out on a couple more slopey holds.

A slab with many V0 eliminates. One starting on the left arete on a horn going up and right and others just climbing up the face itself.

Start on the two good side-pulls on the arete and climb up to about 8ft, traverse right on a line of crimps (below the lip) and finish on The Flake Right.  The first crux is making the match on the crimp on Side Pulls.  The second crux is making the rose move with your left to the horn on The Flake Right.

Starting on the two lowest crimps follow more crimps up to the crux where you make a move over the lip.

Start just right of the arête, and follow the big seam up   to crux below the lip.

SDS on arete left of jewel thief with a small low sidepull for the right and a pinch low on the arete for the left. Climb rightward along incut horizontal rails to arrive at the crux of Jewel Thief. Tops out through Jewel Thief.

Thats right. Full, butt on the ground, Sit Start! Start on tiny crimps an make very hard and shouldery move with your right to the lowest part of the flake. Hold it as a gaston/pinch. Another difficult  move to match the flake. A coule of movements to get into the normal strating position for the Flake. The send the Flake.

The best boulder on Mt. Lemmon. Tall, proud, and a fair number of problems in every grade. It is sharp, but quite good quality granite. It was developed by the famed boulderer Bob Murray. I hope you find this useful and let me know if I'm incorrect about anything.
