Yet another John Dunn classic, put up in the 90's but yet still hasn't succumbed to the typical limestone polish this short little gem is well worth the walk. Originally rated 12c it might be on the softer side of D especially for this canyon. Start with some powerful moves down low that give way to some of the best and most beautiful rock in the canyon with some amazing movement and one very fun technical sequence. Mostly good holds on this one.

If this were anywhere else in the canyon you would need to take a number and pop a squat. If you happen to peer through the trees and see draws on this thing get on it. Actually just hang your draws and do it.

Another great headwall in Rifle guarded by some steep powerful cave climbing. Cursed with a geological nightmare of choss, spending approximately 219 hours digging through millions of years worth of about 38 cubic tons of old corral and  the shattering of a beautiful crystal by a greedy FA-ist this route has now been lifted of the curse and has become a very worthy tick in a very cool position perched on the morning side of the canyon.  Expect sustained power endurance climbing on mostly good holds followed by a very fun technical slightly past vertical headwall.

Stick clip the second bolt. There is also a belay/dog/child bolt if needed.

Tucked away in the bushes away from any crowd, you can find this gem of a terd that was once red tagged and left for what might be decades, until our late and beloved Darek got his hands on it and cleaned it up enough to call it a proper route. Despite how it looks, it's actually quite fun. Stack your cheater blocks to a desired height, balance (the crux) your way to the start holds of your choice, and pull on. An opening boulder right away greets you followed by a brief shake to a harder-than-it-looks and more-fun-than-it-looks headwall.
