Description
[Edit]Crooked Finger Tower is a distinctive, nearly 200-foot quartzite pillar at the northern end of the East Humboldt Range, 9.5 miles southwest of Wells, Nevada. It lies in an alpine setting at around 9750 feet in elevation on the east slope below the crest of the range. It’s clearly visible from the valley below while driving along the Great Basin Highway (US 93). It appears as a leaning or crooked “thumb” of the much larger Chimney Rock immediately to the east. Another prominent feature called the Fin lies nearby on the west.
