WARNING! Banning is a new area and a lot of holds are breaking! Some a have been big and unexpected. Use extra caution when climbing.

Forested sandstone cliffs and ledges along the Kettle River. Rock quality is mostly good with pockets of choss. Boulders range from lowball to highball and landings range from good to horrible. This is a new area (summer 2014) so holds may break and almost everything needs cleaning. Many topouts are dirty. Please keep cleaning to a minimum as this is a new area (summer 2014) and overly aggressive cleaning may be frowned upon and result in a loss of climbing privileges.
