Diagonal + Cross

FA unknown

Description

Three interesting boulder problems, with a non-difficult slab between the first two.

Start at right-leaning crack through overhang about 10 feet right of gully (which is 8 feet right of big tree). Up diagonal Right to top of crack. Next up slab trending left (across another route) to aim for big overhanging rock below two weaknesses / notcher in top overhang. Up onto top of rock going over its right half (OK to touch foot to non-overhanging rock to right). Finish through top overhang between two weaknesses / notches.

warning: The rock on and near this route has not been climbed much yet, and some of the rock is still breakable and loose -- so the belayer and other people should stand far away from underneath the climber or someone setting up top anchor.

. . . (Lots of vegetation on this rock as of 2018. Be prepared when climbing to navigate around protruding trees and branches, and dealing with holds slippery with grass, lichen, moss, dirt).

Location

In left side of cliff, at right-leaning diagonal crack about 10 feet right of gully (which is 8 feet right of big tree). Just left of two shorter right-leaning diagonal cracks.
