Description
Interesting moves in a variety of rock situations, from overhangs to slab. . . (First twenty feet very thoughtful . . . has positive holds, but only if clever about how to use them in combination, and have the finger endurance to hang on while feeling around carefully to find them. Or good at going on slopers. Otherwise likely to feel harder than the quoted difficulty grade).
Start below gully / wide notch through low overhang 8 ft right from 1.5-ft-thick tree against wall. Up the gully, then up slab. Finish up notch / cracks through overhang at top of cliff. . . . (Top tree is on -- more like 5.8 if do not use tree). . . . (Or if on top-rope, can stop just before the top).
warning: The rock on and near this route has not been climbed much yet, and some of the rock is still breakable and loose -- so the belayer and other people should stand far away from underneath the climber or someone setting up top anchor.
. . . (Lots of vegetation on this rock as of 2018. Be prepared when climbing to navigate around protruding trees and branches, and dealing with holds slippery with grass, lichen, moss, dirt).
Location
At a gully / wide notch through low overhang in right half of cliff about twenty feet right from the "Center Corner" low gully / notch, and 8 ft right from 1.5-ft-thick tree against wall. Directly below notch through overhang at top of cliff.
