Botanical Gardens

Botanical Gardens is the obvious low angle corner just to the right of the Fallen Angel slab. Typically used to access any number of better routes like Fist Fight, Whales Tale, Medicine Man or to set up topropes on Fallen Angel and Backslider.

As the name suggests, there is often a bit of greenery and foliage in this route, However, traffic over time has lessened this to a great degree.

Pitch 1.

(5.7) Climb the corner past a flake and up to a seep corner. Surmount the short steep corner and continue up a 5.7 corner above. Build an anchor at a small ledge below an oak tree in a corner above.

Pitch 2.

(5.7) Follow an undercling flake out right to a large ledge with a two bolt anchor. Two rappels to the base.
